Our Mission
Guns Down Pens Up Inc. is a youth, community, and violence prevention organization dedicated to empowering youth and families through literacy, leadership development, CPR and life-saving skills, healing programs, and community safety initiatives. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment where young individuals can thrive, learn, and develop into leaders who can positively impact their communities.
Our Programs
Our programs are designed to address the pressing issues of violence and lack of educational resources in our communities. We offer workshops on leadership development, conduct literacy programs that promote reading and writing skills, and provide training in CPR and life-saving techniques. Additionally, we host healing programs that focus on mental health and community safety initiatives aimed at fostering a culture of peace and understanding.
